An Editorial Committee was established at the Special Education Unit (SEU) in 2003 to help promote public awareness and the dissemination of relevant information concerning special education in Brunei Darussalam. The main objective of the Editorial Committee is to publish reports and articles in order to keep readers informed about activities and developments of special education.
Publishes original articles concerning special education on an annual basis. Experimental reports, relevant case studies as well as theoretical articles are sought. The SEU encourages educators and writers to share their knowledge and research findings in forth-coming issues of both the BDJSE and SEU Newsletter.
BDJSE
The BDJSE is intended to be a reference point for researchers, educators and interested readers. Its main purpose is to document the developments and issues in the field of special education. The scope of the jou rnal covers enrolment into school to successful participation in education and beyond. The journal examines issues from the perspective of individual students, schools, parents, administration and policy makers, to point the way forward for a purposeful, collaborative approach to successful inclusion.

Initial Submission Guidelines
Newsletters
The purpose of the newsletter is to record and to increase awareness as well as to communicate with related agencies regarding the ongoing events happening at the SEU. Articles about different areas in special education and special needs are also included in addition to articles on the workshops and trainings conducted by the various services available.
