SCHOOL ESTABLISHMENT

November 1992: Construction of the school site covering 16 Hectares / 40 Acres land with the cost of B$22 Million.

Februari 1994: Orientation of 1st batch of students of MB 1, 2 & MA 4 (421 students).

6th August 1996: Renamed as Sekolah Menengah Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab by the Minister of Industry & Primary Resources.

(Former School Name: Sekolah Menengah Mukim Lumapas)
