According to Catchment Areas
1. Students must obtain at least FIVE passes in their PMB examination in one sitting, including:
- credit in Malay Language or Islamic Religious Knowledge
- pass in English Language
2. Students who had meet the above requirements
with agregate less than 38 is allowed to take seven or six subjects.
3. Special consideration can be given to students who:
- obtained 4 credits (including Malay Language) and a pass in English Language
- obtained 3 credits (including Malay Language) and a pass in English Language
4. Requirements for students wishing to take 9 subjects:
- having obtained an agregate of 12 and below from five subjects, that is, Malay Language, English Language, Mathematics, Lower Secondary Science, Geography or History.
- 9th subject on offered are Principle of Accounts, Islamic Religious Knowledge or French.
- Subject is only on offered if the number of students taking the subject (as a 9th subject) is equal to or more than 5.
- an application letter must be submitted to the principal by the parents/guardian of the student.

| Geography | Credit in PMB Geography and PMB English Language |
| English Literature | At least credit 3 in PMB English Language |
| Principle of Accounts | Credit in PMB Mathematics and PMB English Language |
| Economics | At lest credit 4 in PMB English and credit in PMB Mathematics |
| Commerce | Credit in PMB Commerce and PMB English Language |
| Computer Studies | Credit in PMB Computer and PMB English Language |
| Food and Nutrition | Credit in Home Economics and PMB English Language |
| French | Credit in PMB French and PMB English Language |
