The ACS Legacy Archives represents the foundation of multidisciplinary chemistry: a place where researchers come to understand how chemistry has evolved and where it is heading. It provides full-text searching and instant access to back files of full text journal articles in the field of Chemical, Biochemical, and Related Sciences published by the American Chemical Society from 1879 to 1995. The Archive contains articles by prominent Nobel Laureates such as Linus Pauling, Irving Langmuir, Ryoji Noyori, Elias James, and others.
